Yamadwitheya

Yamadwitheya is another popular name for the festival of Bhaidooj which celebrates the beauty of the eternal bond of love and affection between a brother and a sister. Yamadwitheya is celebrated on the last day of the five-day-long Diwali celebrations. This is the second day after Diwali and the next day after new moon night. Dhanatrayodashi, Narakchaturdashi, Amavasya (Laxmi Pujan), Balipratipada and Yamadvitiya also called Bhaubeej are the five days which comprise Diwali, and each day has a peculiar religious significance.

Yamadwitheya Legend

Popular legend of Yamadwitheya narrates the tale of Yamaraj, the Hindu mythological god of Death. Infact, Yamadwitheya gets its name from the legend of god Yama Raja himself. Story goes that it was on the auspicious ‘Dwitheya’ or ‘Dooj Day’ (second day after new moon) that Yamaraj met his twin-sister Yami or Yamuna after a long period of separation. Dharam Raj (another name for Yama) received a warm reception from his sister Yami. Yami applied red tilak on his brothers forehead and treated him a sumptuous meal. Yamaraj was so much pleased with his sister’s affectionate welcome that he declared that whosoever receives a teeka from his sister on the day of ‘Dooj’ will not be hurled to hell.

Yamadwitheya Ceremony

In accordance with the legend of Yamaraj and his sister Yami, brothers, till date visit their sister on the ‘Dwithiya Day’ and have a meal with her. The custom is called ‘Bhagini Hastha Bhojanam’, this means ‘Having meal with the sister’. It is customary to worship Lord Yama and his record keeper, Chithragupta on this day. Many people consider it important to take a bath in the river Yamuna on Yamadwitheya.

On the day of Yamadwitheya sisters perform arti of their brothers, apply red teeka on their forehead and give them a sweet to eat. While performing these rituals sisters secretly pray for their brothers long and healthy life. Brothers too bless their sisters and present them with gifts or some cash as a token of love.

Yamadwitheya Celebration

Yamadwitheya is quite a popular festival amongst Hindus in India and is celebrated with lot of gusto and enthusiasm. Brothers and sisters strengthen their relationship by a Yamadwitheya get together and sharing childhood memories of togetherness. Gifts are exchanged as a token of love and best of festive food is relished in a harmonious environment.

http://www.bharatonline.com/delhi/festivals/bhai-dooj.html

Bhai Dooj Festival is celebrated in the month of October or November. The date is not fixed and is calculated every year by the Pandits. It falls on the new moon night, approximately one day after the festival of Diwali. The name Bhai Dooj, with "bhai" meaning brother and "dooj" meaning the second day after the new moon (the day of the festival), literally means the day of the brother. Bhai Dooj is also known as the festival of Tikka. The festival of Bhaiya Duj signifies the bond of love between a brother and a sister. The sister applies tilak (saffron and vermilion) on the forehead of her brother, performs aarti and offers sweets. In return, the brother blesses her and gives her nice presents. These presents form a part of Tikka celebrations in New Delhi, India also.

There are a number of legends associated with the festival of Bhai Dooj. One of the legends has it that Yamraj, the God of death, visited his sister Yamuna on the day of Bhaiya Duj. She adorned his forehead with the auspicious tilak (saffron and vermilion), garlanded him and fed him with special dishes and sweets. At the time of leaving, Yamraj gave her a special gift as a token of his adoration and in return she also gifted him a present that was made by her. On that day Yamraj announced that anyone who receives tilak from his sister would never be thrown into hell. From that day onwards, Bhaiya Dooj is celebrated and is also known by the name of "Yama Dwitiya".

Another legend goes that Lord Krishna went to his sister, Subhadra's house, after annihilating Narakasura demon. She welcomed him with arti (lamp), flowers and sweets. Thereafter, she put the Tikka, holy protective tilak, on his forehead. From that day onwards, the festival of Tikka is celebrated as a mark of affection between brothers and sisters. Following these legends, it has become the tradition that it is the brother who goes to his sister's house to celebrate Bhai Dooj and not the other way around.

AS PER STATE BANK OF INDIA JOURNAL VOLUME 6 NUMBER 4 OF MARCH 2005 UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF SHRI A.K.PURWAR PUBLISHED FROM STATE BANK ACADEMY , GURGAON QUARTERLY BOTH MONEY LAUNDERERING AND INTERNATIONAL CRIME WERE COVERED UNDER THE HEADS OF:- 4.)"FRAUDS IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE BY V.V.K.BABU AND 10.)MONEY LAUNDERERING:-A BANKER'S PERSPECTIVE.BY VIKAS RANJAN ON PAGE 73 -FACULTY-PHONE NUMBER:-0124-4015129. IF YOU GO THROUGH BOTH THE ARTICLES THE POINT WHICH HAS BEEN BROUGHT HOME IS ALSO RBI GUIDELINES :- "HIGH NETWORTH INDIVIDUALS AND POLITICALLY EXPOSED PERSONS OF FOREIGN ORIGIN ARE TO BE TREATED AS HIGH RISK CUSTOMERS." FURTHER CERTAIN TARGET AREAS HAVE BEEN UNDERLINED SUCH AS EXPORT/IMPORT,HOTELLING AND CASINOS AND VERY SPECIFICALLY REAL ESTATE.

AT THAT TIME THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SBI ACADEMY WAS SHRI D.K.SHUKLA. THE POINT THAT HAS BEEN MISSED OUT IS THAT BANKERS THEMSELVES ARE INVOLVED IN THE SLEAZE BY FINANCING REAL ESTATE AND HAVE THEIR DIRTY MONEY SIPHONED THROUGH COMPANIES LISTED ON THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE.THEY ARE NOT AFRAID OF THE LAW ,DOING ANTINATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND INVOLVED IN CRIMES AGAINST WOMEN ESPECIALLY SECOND MARRIAGES AND EXTREME CRUEL TORTURE INFLICTED DUE TO MUSLIM RELIGION AND UNTIMELY DEATH MEDICALLY ,FURTHER CONVERSION TO ARYA SAMAJ BY THE HEINOUS BRITISH ACT OF 1937. THAT IS WHY THE MONEY LAUNDERING ARTICLE ITSELF IS ON PAGE 73 OF THE JOURNAL.THESE CRIMINALS ARE PAYING LAKHS TO POLICE OFFICERS TO STIFLE CASES AGAINST THEM AND IF ANY ACTION IS TAKEN BY AN HONEST POLICEMAN HE IS KILLED.FURTHER THERE IS AN ENTIRE CHAIN OF EATING WHICH CAN BE VERY DANGEROUG IF ONE LAW PERSONNEL DECIDES TO BOOK SUCH A CRIMINAL WHO GOES TO THE POLICE STATION AS A RESPECTABLE BANKER. THE NEED OF THE HOUR IS TO HAVE ALL PERSONS HAVING CBI CASES AGAINST THEM AS REGARDS REAL ESTATE,EXPORT /IMPORT OR HOTELLING SLEAZE-THEIR RECORDS TO BE MAINTAINED IN THE LOCAL POLICE STATION OF RESIDENCE/POSTING OR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE . THEN IT WOULD BE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET SUCH SCAMSTERS OFF THE HOOK IN CASE OF ANY LOCAL FRAUD ,RAPE,WIFE CRUELTY OR ANY OTHER HEINOUS CRIME UNDER THE LOCAL POLICE THANA. MAINTAIN A LIST OF ALL SCAMSTERS IN PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS WITH REAL ESTATE CASES ON THEM IN THE LOCAL POLICE THANA OF POSTING AND RESIDENCE.IS NOT A THEIF CAUGHT AND PUT BEHIND BARS IMMEDIATELY,THEN WHY ARE BANKERS NOT CAUGHT IN THE THANA WHEN THEY ARE CHEATING BOTH THE PUBLIC,THE BANK AND THEIR FAMILIES.THAT IS WHY THEY ARE PROVING THAT THERE IS NO GOD BY THE BACKING OF ORGANIZED CRIME AND FANNY ADAMS UNION JACK WHO ARE MAKING THESE SCAMSTERS DO THE MOST HEINOUS DEEDS DUE TO THEIR OBLIGATION OF CLEANING DIRTY MONEY AS ALSO PROVIDING LOGISTIC TECHNICAL SUPPORT IN A SECOND MARRIAGE OF IVF WITH A WOMAN WHO IS SOMETIMES 24-30 YEARS YOUNGER THAN THESE GUTTERS WHO REFUSE TO BE SATISFIED IN SEX AS THEY GET THEMSELVES INJECTED WITH SEXUAL DRUGS.

Hum (1991)

Bhaktawar (Danny Denzongpa) is a criminal mastermind, and his most active territory is the dockyard. He constantly gets irritated by the dockyard's union leader, Tiger (Amitabh Bachchan), and only tolerates him, because Tiger's dad Deepak Shirke) is his bodyguard. During a confrontation between Tiger and Bhaktawar, Bhaktawar is reportedly killed, and Tiger has to run for his life, this time from the police, even abandoning his love Jumalina Gonsalves (Kimi Katkar). Years later, Tiger surfaces as a bespectacled mild-mannered man, with two younger brothers (Rajnikant & Govinda), one of whom is a police inspector. Soon the past catches up with Tiger (or Shekhar as he calls himself now), and he must now come to terms with it, and avoid being arrested by his brother. Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

Mainly a Thriller/Drama about corrupt police officers, crime rings and workers unions, the story of Hum is about a man named Tiger, who works, reluctantly, for the criminal Bhaktawar collecting 'protection money.' However, Tiger also helps the poor and leads protests against Bhaktawar's actions. He loves his family, and he loves his girlfriend Jumma even though their relationship seems to be a stormy one. Bhaktawar decides to bump off Tiger, but accidentally kills his parents instead, leaving Tiger to care for his two little step-brothers alone. The corrupt police inspector, Giridhar, takes advantage of this situation and, intending to steal Bhaktawar's fortune, frames Tiger for killing Bhaktawar's family before himself arresting Bhaktawar, thus ensuring that there will be no one to complain when he takes the money for himself. The story then picks up 15 years later: Tiger has changed his name to Shekhar and lives in the country with his two brothers, who are both adults now and one of whom is even married. Jumma, whom he was forced to leave in order to flee with his brothers, has become a famous actress and is still waiting for Tiger to come back to her. Inspector Giridhar has become rich from Bhaktawar's stolen fortune. And also, Bhaktawar himself has just been released from jail, and he wants revenge on the man he thinks murdered his family -- Tiger. Written by Talia Felix

"There is complete harmony in the family... "

Santanu Sanyal

Jayanta Mallick

Every evening B.K. Birla plays the harmonium and his wife joins him in singing prayers. "My voice has become coarse but her voice still lilts," he says.

At 85, Basant Kumar Birla, the youngest son of G.D. Birla, referred to as BK Babu, was in a hurry, at least till recently. Not without reason, though. The ownership issue with regard to Pilani Investments and Industries Corporation Ltd had to be resolved fast. The death of Priyamvada Birla had changed the scenario.

"Also, we have become old; I'm 85, G.P. Birla is 82 and my elder brother, K.K. Birla, is 87. So something had to be done without delay," says B.K. Birla, sitting in his 15th-floor office at Birla Buildings in Kolkata.

Three months ago, members of the Birla clan met to resolve the Pilani issue. Finally, the agreements were signed on August 5. Interestingly, none of the Birlas put their signatures in the agreement. "I do not remember having signed any paper; our executives did everything."

How much does he, together with Kumarmangalam Birla, now hold in Pilani? "More than 50 per cent," comes the reply. When pressed on the exact figure, he says with a big smile, "Does it really matter as long as we hold more than 50 per cent?" Religious as he is, did he go to the temple after the signing? "We did go to the temple, but before the signing," he says.

Ever since G.D. Birla's death in 1983, there have been several meetings among the family members regarding ownership issues. By 1985, the ownership issues of all companies except Pilani Investments had been satisfactorily resolved.

In 1986, the Pilani issue came up for review. It was decided that B.K. Birla would be the Chairman of Century Textiles, in which Pilani held a 35 per cent stake. The board of Pilani was recast to induct C.K. Birla, representing the G.P. Birla group, and M.P. Birla, each holding 25 per cent stake in Pilani.

It was also decided that the Chairmanship of Century Textiles would automatically pass on to Aditya Vikram Birla, B.K. Birla's son, in due course. Since Aditya Vikram died in 1995, B.K. Birla continues to be Chairman.

After M.P. Birla's death, his shares in Pilani passed on to his wife, Priyamvada Birla. After her death last year, the ownership of the Pilani shares she held has been disputed. "We do not consider the shares held earlier by M.P. Birla as part of the promoter's group," B.K. Birla says.

K.K. Birla's shares in Pilani would automatically come to his younger brother, B.K. Birla. K.K. Birla holds about seven per cent equity — worth about Rs 100 crore — in Pilani. "Right now I do not have that much money and so I've told my elder brother to hold the shares for about a year or so. But he assured me that I need not worry and that he would gift the Pilani shares to me. I'm not going to accept the shares as a gift. I can take a watch or some such thing as a gift but not shares of such a huge value."

Looking relaxed, he adds that the payment has been made to G.P. Birla and S.K. Birla, the cheques have been encashed and the shares transferred.

What about other companies in which different Birla groups jointly hold stakes?

"There are 15 or so such companies but we are in no hurry to settle the ownership issue in these companies. There is no problem as there is complete harmony in the family in this regard, as it was in the case of Pilani."

The bulk of Pilani's investment is in the Kumarmangalam Birla-K.K. Birla group. For instance, in Century alone, Pilani's stake is about 35 per cent. The other group companies in which Pilani holds equity are Mysore Cement, under the S.K. Birla group; Sutlej and Zuari, under the K.K. Birla group; and Orient Paper, under the G.P. Birla group.

Now that the Pilani issue has been resolved satisfactorily, B.K. Birla may have to turn his attention to the succession issue within his own group companies, which are worth about Rs 10,000 crore.

Jayashree Tea, with 15 gardens all over the country, and producing about 20 million kg annually, would go to his elder daughter, Jayashree Mohta, and Kesoram, complete with cement factories and tyre units, to the younger daughter, Manjushree.

"I want to give Century Textiles and Century Enka to my grandson, Kumarmangalam, but he is in no hurry to take them," he says. "There are a few other companies in my group, much smaller in size, which too, I feel, should go to Kumar, but he wants me to look after these companies as long as I can. This is presumably because Kumar is so busy with his own companies. Also these companies were set up long ago, much smaller in size and, therefore, may not be of great interest to Kumar."

Then there are so many trusts controlling educational institutions, art galleries, music halls, and the like. Most of these will perhaps go to the daughters.

"I'm not bothered what happens to these institutions after my death; it is for them to decide how they will be run."

He takes pride in saying that his management style is moulded after his father, G.D. Birla. "I have followed him in toto. Perhaps we are old-fashioned by present-day standards," he says.

His son Aditya, the first in the Birla clan to be educated in a foreign university (MIT in the US), followed his father's style, partially.

However, he is not sure if the grandson too is following the same style of doing business. "It is not expected either. The world has vastly changed, the complexities of business have increased and Kumar has so many things to look after, but I must say he is excellent in his own way."

The core of Birla's management practices has been the "parta" system, which, according to him, is nothing but a cost-control exercise. Also, the loyalty and efficiency of those working under him have been a source of strength. "I've got some of the finest men working for me for 35-40 years with impeccable records and I'm really proud of them."

He concedes that the not-so-satisfactory equations with the powers that were did hurt his business interests from time to time. "But somehow we managed to weather the storm."

Birla and his wife have avid interests in art and culture and, for many years, the Sangit Kala Mandir — set up by them in Kolkata, organised performances by leading artistes.

"It was indeed a pleasure interacting with top artistes at a personal level," he says. The Birla Academy in Kolkata is again an excellent centre for arts.

At a time when many others in his family (including his son) chose to relocate to other parts of the country, Birla opted for Kolkata.

When asked what was so special about Kolkata, he quips, "What is so special about your wife and children to you? It is the same feeling. I'm brought up in this city, my children too were born and brought up here and even my grandson was born here. My family is part of this city."

Birla wakes up at 3.30 every morning, and his wife at 2.30 a.m. "We take a walk at 4 in the morning. My wife walks for about 45 minutes and I, a little longer. I come to office by 9.30."

Does he still play the violin? "No, not any more. I stopped playing the violin many years ago. But I play the harmonium every evening and my wife joins me in singing prayers. My voice has become coarse but her voice still lilts. Occasionally, my younger daughter joins us. Usually, only we two are there and it is a wonderful experience."

Does he have any regrets? "Regrets? No, no, there are no regrets. Why should there be any? God has given me so much and I'm grateful to Him. Despite personal setbacks, which we all have in our lives in one form or another, I've been able to sail through with God's grace. I do not have anything to ask for from Him."

SALINAS, California (CNN) -- Singer and songwriter John Denver, whose '70 hits such as "Rocky Mountain High" and "Take Me Home, Country Roads" gained him worldwide fame, was killed Sunday when his small aircraft plunged into Monterey Bay, officials said Monday. He was 53.

His remains were positively identified by the Monterey County Coroner's Office through fingerprints obtained from the state of Colorado, Monterey County Sheriff Norman Hicks said. The National Transportation Safety Board was pursuing details on the cause of the crash itself, while the sheriff's coroners will be investigating the circumstances surrounding the cause of death, he said.

"We share a sense of shock and loss to our community, our nation and the world, and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the many friends, the family, and the many admirers of John Denver," Hicks said at a Monday news conference.

Denver was piloting the two-seat light plane along the California coast when the engine failed shortly after 5 p.m., plunging him into ocean waters just past Monterey Bay. In August 1997, "The Best of John Denver Live" reached Number 47 on the country album charts. It was Denver's first chart appearance since 1988.

Beheading of St. John the Baptist

Feast day

The liturgical commemoration of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist is almost as old as that commemorating his Nativity, which is one of the oldest feasts, if not the oldest feast, introduced into both the Eastern and Western liturgies to honor a saint.

The Roman Catholic Church celebrates the feast on August 29 as the "Martyrdom of St. John the Baptist" in the ordinary form and as "The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist" in the extraordinary form, or traditional Latin Mass.

The Church of England and many other national provinces of the Anglican Communion celebrate the feast on August 29. In the Church of England, the day is referred to as "The Beheading of John the Baptist."

The Eastern Orthodox and Byzantine Catholic churches also celebrate this feast on August 29. The day is always observed as a day of fasting, even if it falls on a Saturday or Sunday (in which case the fast is lessened, but never entirely abrogated). In some Orthodox cultures pious people will not eat food from a flat plate, use a knife, or eat food that is round in shape on this day.

The Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Decollation of St. John on Saturday of Easter Week.

The Syriac Orthodox, Indian Orthodox, and Syro-Malankara Catholic Churches commemorate the martyrdom on January 7.

Ek Nari Ek Brahmachari (1971)

Raisaheb Surajbhan Chaudhary lives a wealthy lifestyle in a palatial mansion with his wife of 30 years, Rajlaxmi, and two sons, Rajkumar, who has been married for several years with Shyama; and Mohankumar who is studying out of town in college. Surajbhan is disappointed with Rajkumar as he has as yet not produced a heir to his family. To make matters worse Mohan, a devout worshiper of Lord Bajrangbali, has taken a vow of celibacy and refuses to get married. Things change dramatically when a young woman named Neena, along with her son, enters the Chaudhary household claiming that Mohan had married her and abandoned her. She goes through a number of tests, including a blood test, which determine that the child is actually a heir of the Chaudhary family. Now Surajbhan and Rajlaxmi want Mohan and Neena to get officially married, though Mohan keeps on objecting that he has never married Neena and the child is not his. Things get complicated when Surajbhan finds out that the child is actually Rajkumar's, and that Neena may have been pulling wool over all their eyes.

Beyond The Frame: Adivasis of Chhattisgarh

I traveled to central India in October 2004 to photograph the Adivasis (tribals) in Chhattisgarh, a recently established state originally part of Madhya Pradesh. One of the more interesting tribal belts is in the Bastar region, and it is there that I photographed members of the Muria, Muria-Gond, Bison-Horn Maria,Halba, Dhurwa, Bhatra and Dorla tribes. I witnessed their ceremonial dances, and rubbed shoulders with them at their weekly markets, or 'haats', where they barter for products and produce. I sampled their delicacies, including a rather spicy concoction of red-ants. Their ceremonial dances are very similar in style to Native American dances.

This photograph is of two members of the Bison Horn Marias tribe, a major sub-caste of the Gonds, photographed after they had performed one of their ritualistic dances. These tribes prefer to live in isolation in forests, and generally shun the outside world. The majority of Bison Horn Marias speak various unintelligible dialects of Gondi, an unwritten language of the Dravidian family. They practice shifting cultivation method of agriculture and collect forest produce for survival.

Due to the presence of the separatist Naxalites, who attack police stations and government building, it is wise to hire guides that are of the area and knowledgeable of the situation. Chhattisgarh and its Bastar region is not for everyone, however I was impressed by the courage against adversity shown by these tribes, and by their desire to preserve
their identity. For the genuinely interested, this region offers an unparalleled glimpse into the lives of a fast disappearing way of life.

HOW AUTHENTIC ARE THE SUPREME COURT DECISIONS?

Constitutional status of Jainism in India

In 2005 the Supreme Court of India in a judgment stated that Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists are sub-sects or 'special faiths' of Hinduism, and are governed under the ambit of Hindu laws.[46] In the same year however, it declined to issue a writ of Mandamus towards granting Jains the status of a religious minority throughout India. The Court noted that Jains have been declared a minority in 5 states already, and left it to the rest of the States to decide on the minority status of Jain religion.[47]

In 2006 the Supreme Court in a judgment pertaining to a state, opined that "Jain Religion is indisputably not a part of the Hindu Religion". (para 25, Committee of Management Kanya Junior High School Bal Vidya Mandir, Etah, U.P. v. Sachiv, U.P. Basic Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad, U.P. and Ors., Per Dalveer Bhandari J., Civil Appeal No. 9595 of 2003, decided On: 21.08.2006, Supreme Court of India) [2]

A Jain is a follower of Jinas ("conquerors"),[7][8] specially gifted human beings who have rediscovered the dharma, became fully liberated and taught the spiritual path for the benefit of all living beings. Jains follow the teachings of 24 special Jinas who are known as Tirthankaras ('ford-makers', those who have discovered and shown the way to salvation). The 24th and most recent Tirthankar is Shri Mahavir, who lived from 599 to 527 BCE according to traditional history. The 23rd Tirthankar, Shri Parsvanatha, is now recognised as a historical person, who lived during 872 to 772 BC.[9][10]

Jainism encourages spiritual development through reliance on and cultivating one's own personal wisdom and self-control (व्रत, vratae). The goal is realization of the soul's true nature.

Jaina tradition is unanimous in naming Rishabha (also known as Adhinath) as the First Tirthankar.[11] The first Tirthankar, Rishabhdev/ Adhinath appeared prior to the Indus Valley Civilization. The Jain Swastika symbol and naked statues resembling the Jain monks amongst the remains of the Indus Valley Civilization, do substantiate claims.

Jainism believes that the Universe and Dharma have no beginning and no ending. However it goes through a process of cyclical change. Jains believe it is approx. 8.4 million years old religion in its current cyclic period. Therefore there is no concept of a creator of the universe within Jainism.

Jainism differs from other religions in its concept of God. According to its belief, there is no overarching supreme divine creator, owner, preserver or destroyer. Every living soul is potentially divine and the Sidhhas who have completely eliminated their karmic bonding, thereby ending their cycle of birth and death, have attained God-consciousness.

The main Jain prayer (Namokar Mantra) therefore salutes the five special categories of souls that have attained God-consciousness or are on their way to achieving it, so as to emulate and follow their path to salvation.

Jain literature

Jains have contributed to India's classical and popular literature. For example, almost all early Kannada literature and Tamil literature was written by Jains.

  • Some of the oldest known books in Hindi and Gujarati were written by Jain scholars. The first autobiography in Hindi, [Ardha-Kathanaka] was written by a Jain, Banarasidasa, an ardent follower of Acarya Kundakunda who lived in Agra.
  • Several Tamil classics are written by Jains or with Jain beliefs and values as the core subject.
  • Practically all the known texts in the Apabhramsha language are Jain works.

The oldest Jain literature is in Shauraseni and Ardha-Magadhi Prakrit (Agamas, Agama-Tulya, Siddhanta texts, etc). Many classical texts are in Sanskrit (Tatvartha Sutra, Puranas, Kosh, Sravakacara, mathematics, Nighantus etc). "Abhidhana Rajendra Kosha" written by Acharya Rajendrasuri, is only one available Jain encyclopedia or Jain dictionary to understand the Jain Prakrit, Sanskrit, and Ardha-Magadhi and other Jain languages, words, their use and references with in oldest Jain literature. Later Jain literature was written in Apabhramsha (Kahas, rasas, and grammars), Hindi (Chhahadhala, Mokshamarga Prakashaka, and others), Tamil (Jivakacintamani, Kural, and others), and Kannada (Vaddaradhane and various other texts). Jain versions of Ramayana and Mahabharata are found in Sanskrit, Prakrit, Apabhramsha and Kannada.

Jessica Lall Murder Case

SC dismisses bail plea of Manu Sharma

New Delhi, May 12-2008

In a double whammy for Manu Sharma, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in Jessica Lall murder case, the Supreme Court today refused to grant him bail and suspend his punishment.

"Keeping in view the seriousness of offence, the manner in which the crime was said to have been committed and the gravity of offence, we are of the view that no case has been made out by Sharma for suspension of the sentence and grant of bail", a Bench comprising Justices C.K Thakker and D.K Jain said.

"The application deserves to be dismissed and is accordingly dismissed," it said.

The court noted that Sharma's pleas could not be granted, as his appeal against the conviction by the Delhi High Court had been admitted and awaits final hearing that was likely within "measurable distance of time".

The Bench said since the appeal was pending, any observation on the case was likely to prejudice one or the other party, challenging the High Court verdict.

"We are conscious and mindful that the main matter (appeal) is admitted and is pending for final hearing.

Observations on merits, one way or the other, therefore, are likely to prejudice one or the other party to the appeal. We are hence, not entering into the correctness or otherwise of the evidence on record," the bench said.

Model Jessica Lall was shot dead here on the intervening night of April 29-30, 1999, at the Qutub Colonade restaurant in South Delhi owned by socialite Bina Ramani.

Manu Sharma, son of former union minister Venod Sharma, was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Delhi High Court, which had set aside the trial court verdict acquitting him in the case.

The Bench said when a person was convicted by an appellate court (high court), he could not be said to be an “innocent person” until the final decision was recorded by the superior court in his favour.

“The mere fact that during the period of trial, the accused was on bail and there was no misuse of liberty, does not warrant suspension of execution of sentence and grant of bail. What really necessary is to consider whether reasons exists to suspend execution of the sentence and grant of bail,” it said.

The Bench said “initial presumption of innocence” was also not in favour of Sharma, who remained on bail for considerable period during the trial of the case as his acquittal by the sessions court was set aside by the high court.

“It, however, cannot be overlooked that as on today, Sharma has been found guilty and convicted by a competent criminal court. Initial presumption of innocence in favour of the accused, therefore, is no more available to the applicant,” the Bench said.

It said: “On the facts and in the circumstances of the case, this is not a fit case to exercise power under Section 389 of the CrPC (for grant of suspension of sentence pending appeal)”. — PTI

CASE NO.:

Appeal (civil) 9595 of 2003

PETITIONER:

Committee of Management Kanya Junior High School Bal Vidya Mandir, Etah, U.P.

RESPONDENT:

Sachiv, U.P. Basic Shiksha Parishad Allahabad, U.P. & Others

DATE OF JUDGMENT: 21/08/2006

BENCH:

S. B. SINHA & DALVEER BHANDARI

JUDGMENT:

J U D G M E N T

This appeal is directed against the judgment and order

dated 10.4.2003 passed by the High Court of Judicature at

Allahabad in Civil Writ Petition No. 15255 of 2003.

Respondent no. 3 Smt. Santosh Upadhyay was working

as an Assistant Teacher in the Kanya Junior High School Bal

Vidya Mandir, Etah. A letter dated 8.9.2001 in the form of a

show-cause-notice was sent to respondent no. 3 by the

Principal of the school directing her to stop her acts of

indiscipline. The letter dated 8.9.2001 reads as under:

"(Minority Institution)

G. Jr. High School Bal Vidya Mandir, Etah

(Permanently Recognized from Government for the

Class from Nursery to VIIIth)"

It may be pertinent to mention that a letter dated

7.3.2003 sent by the District Inspector of School, Etah to the

Basic Eduction Officer, Etah regarding verification of the Girls

Junior High School Bal Vidya Mandir, Etah Minority

Institution is as under:

"From,

District Inspector of School, Etah.

To,

To Basic Education Officer, Etah.

Letter No. /2002-03 Dated 7.3.2003

Sub: In regard to verification of Girls

Junior High School Bal Vidya

Mandir, Etah Minority Institution.

Sir,

In the above matter kindly peruse your

office letter B.S. 7493/2002-03 dated

24.2.2003.

In the regard by this office 2.9.2002, the

position is made clear, where as the then

District Inspector of School, Etah in

accordance with the then Rules was competent

authority to declare the aforementioned School

as Minority Institution or not? It is informed

in this regard, as per para 3 under heading

"Minority Institution" of Madhyan 10, photo

copy of the same is enclosed the then District

Inspector of School was Competent Authority

to decide the Minority Institution.

Please be aware accordingly and take

necessary action.

Sd/-

7.3.2003

(K. N. Kanaujiya)

District Inspector of School, Etah.

Enclosed: As above."

According to the appellant institution, it is clearly

mentioned that the District Basic Education Officer was

competent to decide regarding minority status of the

institution. The Division Bench of the Allahabad High Court

in Special Appeal 1207/2001, after hearing the parties,

observed as under:

"The institution has been accorded the status of a

minority institution thus no prior approval of the

District Basic Education Officer for terminating the

services of a teacher in a minority institution is

required to be taken in view of the proviso to Rule

15 of the 1978 Rules."

The appeal filed by respondent no. 3 was dismissed by an

order dated 13.11.2002.

In subsequent proceedings in Writ Petition No. 1525 of

2003, the learned Single Judge of the Allahabad High Court on

10.4.03, while altogether ignoring the said judgment of the

Division Bench of the same Court in the Special Appeal No.

1207 of 2001, (by which he was bound), had observed in the

judgment that in a Special Appeal the Court had not

considered the question regarding the minority status of the

institution. This observation of the learned Single Judge is

wholly untenable.

The approach adopted by the learned Single Judge in this

case is against the settled principle of law. Law is consistent

and clear that the Single Judge of the High Court is bound by

the decision of the Division Bench.

In support of the view taken by the Division Bench adequate material exists. We deem it proper to recapitulate references to the decided cases and other relevant material.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh, by a notification

dated 29.5.2001, declared the Jain community in the State of

Madhya Pradesh as a minority community.
The Founding Fathers of the Constitution had unequivocally recognized the Jains as a minority community as is evident from the proceedings of the Constituent Assembly. While keeping in view that the Jains are a minority community, a representative of the Jain community was taken in the Minority Advisory Committee of the Constituent Assembly. On 3rd September, 1949, while addressing a public meeting at Allahabad, the first Prime Minister of India, Shri Jawahar Lal Nehru said. We quote a few lines from the said speech "No doubt India has a vast majority of Hindus, but they could not forget the fact that there were also minorities Muslims, Parsis, Christians, Sikhs and Jains. If India was understood as a Hindu Rashtra, it meant that the minorities were not cent percent citizens of this country." The said speech was reported in the English daily newspaper 'The Statesman' dated 5.9.1949. On 31st January, 1950, the PPS to the then Prime Minister of India sent a letter to the Jain Deputation on behalf of the then Prime Minister, which reads as under: "With reference to the deputation of certain representatives of the Jains, who met the Prime Minister on the 25th January, 1950, I am desired to say that there is no cause whatever for the Jains to have any apprehensions regarding the future of their religion and community. Your deputation drew attention to Article 25, explanation II of the Constitution. This explanation only lays down a rule of construction for the limited purpose of the provision in the article and as you will notice, it mentions not only of Jains but also Buddhists and the Sikhs. It is clear therefore, there is no reason for thinking that Jains are considered as Hindus. It is true that Jains in some ways closely linked to Hindus and have many customs in common, but there can be no doubt that they are a distinct religious community and constitution does not in any way affect this well recognized position. Yours faithfully, Sd. A. V. Pai Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister" Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the former President of India, in his celebrated book "Indian Philosophy Vol I" mentioned as under:

"The Bhagawat Purana endorses the view that Rishbhadeva was the founder of Jainism. There is evidence to show that so far back as the first century B.C. there were people who were worshipping Rishabhadeva, the first Tirthankara. There is no doubt that Jainism prevailed even before Vardhamana Mahaveera or Parsvanatha. The Yajurveda mentions the names of three Tirthankaras-Rishab, Ajitnath & Aristanemi."

Dr. Radhakrishnan, who edited the 6th Volume of The

Cultural Heritage of India, mentioned as under:

"The Jains claim a great antiquity for their religion.

Their earliest prophet was Rishabhdeva. Who is

mentioned even in the Vishnu and Bhagawat

Puranas as belonging to a very remote past. In the

earliest Brahmanic literature are found traces of the

existence of a religious Order, which ranged itself

strongly against the authority of the Vedas and the

institution of animal sacrifice. According to the

Jain tradition, at the time of the Mahabharata war,

this Order was led by Neminatha, who is said to

have belonged to the same Yadava family as Krisna

and who is recognized as the twenty-second

Tirthankara. The Order gathered particular

strength during the eighth century B.C. under

Parsvanatha the twenty-third Tirthankaran, who

was born at Varanasi. This order we may call the

sramana sangha (as distinct from the Vedic Order),

which later became divided into the Jain and the

Buddhist Orders under Mahaveera and the Buddha,

respectively."

SYMBOLISM OF SIGMA

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sigma_(letter)

Sigma (upper case Σ, lower case σ; Greek Σιγμα, lower case in word-final position ς) is the eighteenth letter of the Greek alphabet, and carries the /s/ sound. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 200. When used at the end of a word, and the word is not all upper case, the final form (ς) is used. (e.g. Ὀδυσσεύς (Odysseus) - Note the two sigmas in the center of the name, and the word-final sigma at the end.) Not to be confused with the cedilla ç.

The letter is ultimately derived from Phoenician Šin . However, its name derives from Samekh.

The uppercase form of sigma was borrowed into the Latin alphabet to serve as the uppercase of esh (lowercase: ʃ).

Disigma, or "double sigma", is a non-current term for the character Sampi. [1]

Dayanand Saraswati Biography

Born: 1824

Died: 1883

Swami Dayanand Saraswati's original name was Mool Shankar Tiwari. He was born in 1824 in Tankara, Gujarat in a rich family of Brahmins. As a child Dayanand was brought up under the strictest Brahmin rule, and at the age of eight was invested with the Sacred Thread (Upanayna). When he was fourteen his father took him to the temple on the occasion of Shivaratri. Dayanand had to fast and keep awake the whole night in obedience to Lord Shiva.

the night he saw a rat nibbling the offerings to the God and running over Shiva's body.

He tried to find out from elders why this "God Almighty" could not defend himself against the menace of a petty mice, for which he was rebuked.

This incident shattered Daya Nand Saraswati's faith in the idol worship and thereafter he refused to participate in the religious rites for the rest of his life.

At the age of nineteen Dayanand Saraswati ran away from home to escape from a forced marriage. He was caught and imprisoned. He fled again in1845. For fifteen years he wandered all over the country in the search of a guru. In 1860, he found his guru and mentor Swami Virjanand Saraswati at Mathura. He was blind. Dayanand Saraswati underwent rigorous training under Swami Virjanand Saraswati. Virjanand Saraswati gave him the name Dayanand and as gurudakshina extracted promise from Dayanand that he would devote his life for revival of Hinduism.

Dayanand Saraswati undertook a tour of the entire county, made fiery speeches condemning the caste system, idolatry, and child marriages. He advocated the ideal age for a girl to be between 16 and 24, and for men between 25 and 40. Dayanand Saraswati was the first leader in the field of theology who welcomed the advances of sciences and technology. To him, the Vedas as the source book contain the seed of science, and to him, the Vedas advocate the philosophy of dynamic realism.

Dayanand Saraswati founded Arya Samaj in Mumbai in 1875 to promote social service. Arya Samaj, postulates in principle equal justice for all men and all nations, together with equality of the sexes. It repudiates a hereditary caste system, and only recognizes professions or guilds, suitable to the complementary aptitudes of men in society. He gave new interpretations to reform the stagnant Hindu thought through his book "Satyaprakash" (The Light of Truth). He profusely quoted the vedas and other religious texts to insist that salvation was not the only motto of a Hindu or Arya, as was believed. To lead a fruitful worldly life, working for a noble cause was important, and he preached that salvation was possible through social service.

In course of his travels he came to Kashi (Benaras). Here he took part in a debate with the scholars of Kashi. The question was whether the Vedas approved image worship. On the one side was Swami Dayananda all alone; on the other side were twenty-seven distinguished scholars of Kashi.

The scholars had to accept defeat in the face of Dayananda's arguments. Just then a scholar came up with two sheets of paper and asked a question. Dayananda picked up the sheets and began to read. While he was still reading they began to shout that he could not answer the question. Dayananda protested that he needed to read before he could reply. But the scholars would not listen. They proclaimed that he had "failed". But the Press faithfully reported what had actually gone on. The official version of events simply did not wash, and Dayananda became a national figure.

Due to his radical thought, Swami Dayanand had acquired enemies from all spheres of life.

On the occasion of Deepavali in 1883, he was a guest of the maharaja of Jodhpur.

The king was a womanizer and Dayanand advised the king to lead a righteous life as a ruler, upsetting a mistress by the name of Nanhi Jan. One day when the Maharaja and this woman were together, Dayananda happened upon them. Seeing them together, Dayananda boldly reprimanded the Maharaja thus, "Oh King, what is this I see? A lion in the company of a she-dog? This is unbefitting of an Arya. Your duty is like that of a father to his children. Your people look up to Ou for protection and guidance. But Ou are keeping the company of a street bitch and bringing defame to Our name, Our family, and the human race.

WHY DOES THE INDIAN MUSLIM WANTS TO REMAIN IN FILTH AND BECOME A CRIMINAL?

Throw away Our selfish and degrading habits! Awaken from the coma of ignorance and hearken to the call of Our soul! You are Arya Putra, a son of God--be true to Our name and stand on Our own two feet like a man of God! Stop making excuses for Our selfish habits and leave these crutches of Our ego! You are not a four-legged animal--then why do Ou cuddle at the feet of this fallen mother, like a little puppy dog? Utishtha! Arise and be true to Our nature--follow Our Dharma like Our forefathers; polish and preserve Our character and become a shining gem in the crown of the Almighty."

The Maharaja felt ashamed and broke off all contact with this woman.

She bribed Dayananda's cook to poison him. One evening when Dayananda was about to go to bed he brought him a glass of milk containing poison and ground glass. Dayananda took the glass of milk and went to sleep only to wake up later with a burning sensation. He realized immediately that he had been poisoned and attempted to purge his digestive system of the poisonous substance, but it was too late. The poison had already entered his blood stream.

THE SILK ROUTE ROAD TO TERROR MARKETING IN INDIA

SH. CHANDRA BHUSHAN KUMAR

DIRECTOR (EDN.),

Directorate of Education,

Government of NCT Delhi

23890172,363 Dated 4-9-2008

SUBJECT:-GOVERNMENT SCHOOL LYING IN RUINS IN OUTRAM LANE, MUKHARJEE NAGAR,IN THE LANE OF SHRI RAM MANDIR,IN FRONT OF HOUSES NUMBER 2016 AND 2018.

SIR,

Please see the photographs enclosed of the Government school lying in ruins and utter desolation in Outram Lane , Mukherjee Nagar, since the past two years and posing a serious threat to the security of the residents living in the entire area of Outram Lane.

If you see the photographs a new section of the school was built recently showing that the school was indispensable to the residents of the area. But was still closed down. Neither was any effort made to guide the residents to the new address of the school by hanging a board, nor was there any effort to rebuild the existing school, going by the quality of education which was being imparted there.

A new private school by the name of “Navjeevan School” has come up in the vicinity and must be a competitor of the existing school.

Please refer to the photographs enclosed . Also see the scan for the Ram Mandir to know the exact location.

The empty rooms and bathrooms are a home for local miscreants now and there is no chowkidaar too in the said vicinity.

Very near to this school is also a Jhuggi cluster. It is really sad that poor people should be forced to send their children to expensive private schools when the government is giving such good facilities in government schools. It makes them resort to unlawful means. There was a servant by the name of Rajkumari working in my house in 2004-2005 ; who had put both her children in expensive private school called “Venus Public School” , also in Mukherjee Nagar residential area. It is really a mystery how such poor people can afford to send their children to private schools in Delhi and raises the question of identity cards for all citizens once again –a formula started by the:-

Please refer to the black board picture of the teacher’s work still on the black board. It shows what quality education which was being imparted in the school. Please also see the large expanse of free land in the expanse of the school , right in the middle of a residential colony ; which should be put to good use.

Either a new school should be built or Government office. To me the entire matter seems to be of the location of the school in close vicinity of the Ram Mandir ,which must have been the sore point to neglect it ;as children from Hindu families usually bow their heads in reverence when passing a temple and also visit it during exam times and to me it seems that Hindu religion has taken a back seat in the national capital of Delhi .The location itself of the school in front of houses number 2016-2018 is symbolic as the number 16 and 18 are important religiously to Hindus being associated with 16th death samskara and 18 Puranas as well as 18 chapters of the Gita.Arya Samaj also dishonors the 18 Puranas ; as they were sung in the ancient times and muslim religion is anti music. The use of the 1937 Arya Samaj marriage Act exemplifies this.

In the Anti- Hindu ,Anti -Idol worship sentiment gaining momentum in the capital, people are forgetting the endeavors of Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji Bhosle, also known as Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle (Marathi:) (Born:February 19, 1627, Died: April 3, 1680) was the founder of Maratha empire in western India in 1664.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Shivaji&oldid=230675217

It was Shivaji Maharaj who had first fought against “Psychological Terrorism”, and exemplified to the masses the fact that idol worship or temples are nothing but means to impart mental strength to the faithful in times of great unhappiness and adversity. They are the pillars of support that one can always count on and are thus conducive to even nation building as THEY uphold the morale of the citizens. Breaking places of faith is like breaking the nation’s mental strength. It is for this purpose only that JCOS of faith are employed even in the army.

Also I would like to bring to your notice in spate of violence against Christians in Orissa ,being blamed for conversions that in Bihar since the past few years ,there has been a massive conversion drive of BPL families to Muslim religion of Bangladesh/Osama Bin Laden who says the following:-

“However, radical Islamists adhere to medieval traditions and laws mandating the Jihad. According to the Dictionary of Islam: conquered by jihad, subjugated people are given three choices:

1) convert,

2) pay a head tax, or

3) die.

Thirteenth Century jurist Ibn Taymiya, often quoted by Osama bin Laden, wrote that spoils of war “received the name of fay since Allah had taken them away from the infidels in order to restore them to the Muslims.... [The] infidels forfeit their persons and their belongings which they do not use in Allah's service to the faithful believers who serve Allah and unto whom Allah restitutes what is theirs....”

This creed dictated that in conquered regions, ancient religious sites be confiscated and infidels banned from using them. Thus, the Dome of the Rock was constructed on the ruins of the Temple Mount in 691 AD., Al-Aqsa Mosque over the Basilica of St. Mary in 712, AD, and the Grand Mosque of Damascus, was built over the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in 715 AD.

In India, the Vikramasli temple was razed to the ground in the 13th Century, and its foundation- stones thrown into the Ganges. According to scholar K.S. Lal, thousands of Hindu temples were destroyed and their stones used to build mosques.

Muslim scribes recount the detestation on a church in Georgia in 1551 by Safavid Shah Tahmasp. “The Shah and his nobles went to see the church and slew twenty evil priests and broke the bell of 17 maunds...and destroyed the doors of iron and gold and sent them to the treasury.”

Only when infidels surrendered could they preserve religious buildings, and then only if a clause specifically allowed them, but in that case modifications and improvements were prohibited. Furthermore, 11th Century jurist Abu Al-Hasan Al Mawardi wrote that non-Muslim dhimmis “are not allowed to erect new synagogues or churches in the territory of Islam and any built are to be demolished without compensation.”

In countries with a Muslim majority, Islamists regularly target churches, synagogues and other non-Muslim holy sites for desecration and destruction. The list of old and new examples of Islamic edicts preaching intolerance of others and calling for their destruction as well as the destruction of their holy sites is long.

Unless those - still the majority of the world - who do not adhere to such dogma, take action to stop this aggression, our future is in jeopardy.

The history of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, headed by Yasser Arafat, is filled with religious violence. From 1975 to 1982, when the PLO operated in and from Lebanon, it terrorized Christian communities and ransacked their churches. Even after the newly established Palestinian Authority committed to religious tolerance in the Oslo Accord, its own police forcefully took over Abraham's Oak Russian "Holy Trinity" Monastery in Hebron, on July 5, 1997, wounding several monks and nuns.

Then, in January 2000, the PA evicted five White Russian monks from their 19th Century Jericho Monastery.

In September 1996, Palestinians destroyed the synagogue at Joseph's tomb in Nablus. Then, in October 2000, the reconstructed synagogue and yeshiva at Joseph's Tomb was sacked and burned by mobs, and Rabbi Hillel Lieberman, who went there hoping to save Torah scrolls and other holy objects, was murdered. The next day his bullet-ridden body was found in a cave. Today, the Jewish holy site is buried under the new mosque that was built over the ruins of Joseph Tomb.

The PA’s Tanzim terrorist group invasion and desecration of Bethlehem's Church of Nativity, in May 2002, was premeditated, according to their commander Abdullah Abu-Hadid. He stated on record: "The idea was to enter the church in order to create international pressure on Israel... We knew beforehand that there was two years worth of food for 50 monks. Oil, beans, rice, olives, good bathrooms and the largest wells in old Bethlehem."

The PA terrorists "stole gold objects from the monks, ate their scarce food,

and urinated on the church floor."

Please see that the recent floods in the Kosi river were man made and the hungry scavengers rushing to other cities were always poor , but recently converted to muslim religion which teaches these uneducated masses very wrong things, sometimes even contrary to the Quran. No wonder people from Pakistan call them Muhajir or Panahgir.

The Dhakka mulmul and Kassidakari was their honest forte which was lost in the race of commercialization of power looms.

Coming back to the purpose of writing this letter please take action as per renovation or building a new school immediately.

Staff Reporter

Minister felicitated for good results by Govt. schools

“Govt. committed to provide quality education”

NEW DELHI: Delhi Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely on Wednesday claimed that Delhi had become a pioneering State in the field of school education as its government schools had been performing better than even the well established public schools.http://www.hiddenacresnurseryfl.com/products/Shrubs/Red%20bottle%20brush%201.jpg

Matter of pride

Speaking at a felicitation function at Delhi University where he along with Delhi Education Secretary Rina Ray was honoured by the University fraternity for exemplary performance of government school students in the CBSE examinations, the Minister said it was a matter of pride that Delhi was the first State in the country to provide computer education in all government schools.

He also mentioned that the Department of Education was the first department of the Delhi Government to have e-governance in place.

Mr. Lovely also informed the gathering that the Delhi Government had implemented a 20 per cent free-ship quota for the economically weaker sections to give them enough representation in all the schools in Delhi.

The Government was committed to providing quality education to all in the city, he added.

Ms. Ray said the pass percentage for Class X had improved from 48 per cent in 2002-03 to 84 per cent in 2007-08. Also, she said, the overall pass percentage had gone up.

At an early age, Kishen, to provide a better life for himself and his younger brother Karan, entered the underworld. To prevent the same fate from happening to Karan, he sent him abroad, but before this had happened, Karan had fallen in love with his friend Prakash's sister, Paro. Years pass, and now Kishen is the henchman of Anna, a psychotic don. Karan returns to Bombay and immediately goes to meet Prakash, now an honest police officer. But Anna's men kill Prakash right in front of Karan, and he learns of his brother's involvement with Anna. Against Kishen's wishes, he joins Anna's gang and starts tipping off a rival gang. This is revenge for Prakash's death-by playing off one gang against the other, he hopes to exterminate both of them at the same time. In a desperate attempt to get Karan away from it all, Kishen gets him married to Paro. But when the couple are brutally killed on their wedding night, Kishen is out for revenge... Written by Q. Leo Rahman

Orphaned at a very young age, Kishen and Karan, long for a home, a meal and a soft bed in sleep in. Instead they face starvation, are frequently molested, and end up living on the footpaths of Charni Road, Bombay. Then Kishen meets with a gangster named Anna, and goes to work for him. His first job: Snatch a man's handbag - which he carries out successfully. In this way Kishen is able to feed himself and Karan. He does not want Karan to be involved in any shady dealings, and gets him to go to school, study, and eventually travel to the United States for further education. Years later Karan completes his studies and returns home. He is met by Kishen, and together they make plans to travel to Delhi and then to Poona to meet Karan's sweetheart, Paro. But Karan wants to meet with Paro's brother, Inspector Prakash, and both agree to meet at a venue near Dadar Railway Station - a place where pigeons gather together and are fed by passer-bays. They are indeed happy to see other, but their joy is short-lived as Prakash is gunned down by three men, and killed. Shocked, Karan wants to identify the killers and get them arrested, but runs into brick walls. When Paro returns, he goes to meet her and re-kindle their romance, but she shuns him. It is then that he finds out that he was a mere pawn in the very well planned assassination of Prakash, and amongst the planner of this dastardly deed is none other than his very own brother - Kishen. AND MY FATHER WAS DEEPLY INVOLVED IN THE SAME ENDEAVORS OF TULSI PROTECTION AS I AM DOING PRESENTLY.

JUSTICE ADHIKARI AND HIS FAMILY USED TO VISIT US AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK AND THEY CAME IN THEIR OFFICIAL AMBASSADOR.

HIS WIFE WAS DOING LAW IN EVENING COLLEGE AND THE SWEET FAMILY WAS DEEPLY COMMITED TO EACH OTHER.HIS WIFE'S BROTHER WAS AN ARMY OFFICER IN DRDO WHO HAD LOST A LIMB IN BORDER SKIRMISH.HE WAS THEREFORE GIVEN GROUND DUTIES IN DRDO WHERE MY COUSIN VARSHA CHOPRA WHO HAD POLIO IN HER LEG WAS ALSO WORKING.

JUSTICE ADHIKARI WAS DOING INTELLIGENCE WORK SECRETLY WITH MY FATHER.

HE WAS KILLED IN HIS BATHROOM IN 1988 AND THE POLICE AND PRESS REPORTED THAT HE HAD COMMITED SUICIDE DUE TO PERSONAL REASONS.

HIS BRAINS WERE BLOWN OFF IN THE EARLY MORNING IN HIS BATHROOM AND LAY SCATTERED ON THE FLOOR OF THE BATHROOM-THE SAME BRAIN WHICH WAS BEING USED TO SERVE THIS COUNTRY INDIA AND HELPING MY FATHER AS ALSO THE FATHER OF JUDICIAL ACCOUNTABILITY THROUGH THE INDIAN EVIDENCE ACT OF 1872.

THE KILLERS SET A VERY FILTHY EXAMPLE BY HIS DEATH.HIS WIFE WAS FINISHED BY RUMOURS THAT IT WAS BECAUSE OF HIS WIFE'S ILLEGITIMATE RELATIONS WITH A LAW PROFFESSOR IN EVENING COLLEGE THAT HE HAD COMMITED SUICIDE.HE WAS KILLED WITH HIS OWN LICENSED REVOLVER IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN HIS WIFE WAS SLEEPING WITH THE CHILDREN.

AFTER HIS DEATH HIS PURE WIFE WAS NOT ONLY FILTHILY TREATED BY THIS SOCIETY GOSSIP MONGERS ,BUT SHE HAD NO JOB OR REPUTATION TO LOOK AFTER HER FAMILY.PEOPLE CALLED HER A MURDERESS OF HER GOOD HUSBAND AS ALSO BAD CHARACTERED.SHE WAS THEN SURROUNDED BY FILTHY MEN WHO WANTED TO MISUSE HER BODY AND SHE WAS ALREADY CARRYING A BAD REPUTATION-REMEMBER?

THIS IS HOW ORGANISED CRIME OF ENGLAND/GUPTAS ,DIGAMBER JAINS,SIKHS ,LOWER CASTE MULATTO MUSLIMS AND ARYA SAMAJ FUNCTIONS AND FINISHES A GOOD FAMILY.

NOTHING BAD CAME OUT OPENLY OR SHE COULD HAVE PROTESTED ,SHOUTED TO CLEAR HER REPUTATION.AS HER HUSBAND WAS DOING INTELLIGENCE WORK , SHE COULD NOT TELL ANY ONE WHY HE WAS MURDERED AS THE LIVES OF PEOPLE LIKE MY FATHER WOULD HAVE COME OUT IN THE OPEN.

OPENLY PEOPLE LIKE MAKHIJHA,GUPTAS,JAINS WHISPERED FILTHY THINGS ABOUT HER CHARACTER AND INSTEAD OF A MARTYR'S WIFE WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN HONORED SHE WAS RAPED BY ORGANIZED CRIME OF GUPTAS AND ARYA SAMAJ.HER HUSBAND ALSO WAS DISHONORED AS HE WAS REPORTED TO HAVE COMMITED SUICIDE.

NOW CAN YOU BLAME ME IF I OPENLY ABUSE THESE CUNT SUCKERS?

In the wake of the tiffin Bomb Blast at Mehrauli as also Mahendra Kapoor's death on 27-9-2008,I was reminded of the 1993 blasts of Mumbai.Under total violation of all ethical and humane principles these bomb blasters ,if caught ,usually plead innocence under the guise of suffering from psychotic diseases like Schizophrenia and get bail.Under this they also justify violence and seek revenge from those who put then behind bars.

Violence is not justifiable,if a convict pleads mental disease for seeking Bail.Only 18 out of 100 patients displayed violence in this study presented. The convicts of the Mumbai bomb blasts of 1993 have all taken bail by pleading mental disease and justified violence. Please see that such persons should be sent to solitary confinement in a mental hospital if they so plead bail. Also they are a serious risk to society as they are getting innocent people targetted/ attacked immodestly in public places to illicit a violent response from them and then getting them categorized as psychotic patients in connivance with sold out gutter relatives,to justify criminal violence /faked psychosis. Then on the basis of such cases they seek bail and justify violence which is a characteristic of killers who earn money to kill -the assassins.
Study this incidence of violence in psychotic patients in a mental hospital.Psychosis is no excuse for violence and if under medication such patients develop symptoms of Parkinson's disease,or extreme lethargy, due to lowering of Dopamine levels.
